Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather has announced that her Brent office is to stay open until 6:30pm on Thursday nights, so that those who work during the day are able to call in for help with their problems.

Sarah is the only MP in Brent to run a constituency office, and deals with an estimated 150 enquiries or requests for help each week. As well as calling into the office, constituents can contact Sarah by letter, telephone, email, fax, Facebook, MySpace, or by coming to one of her local surgeries.

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather said:

"People pop in and out of my Willesden Green office all day with their problems. Now I will be able to help people who may not be able to get to the office during working hours.

"Many people in Brent feel alienated from the world of Westminster politics. The constituency office represents the kind of MP I want to be; very much a part of the community and working hard for Brent every day.

"It's important that people feel their MP is approachable, and having an office on the High Street makes it easy for people to call in. I will take up any problems, large or small, and would urge people to contact me if they need help."

Sarah's Willesden Green Office can be contacted on 0208 459 0455.
