Local MP Sarah is a regular visitor to the Shree Swaminarayan Temple

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather has welcomed His Holiness Acharya Maharaj to Brent.

Acharya Maharaj was visiting the Shree Swaminarayan Temple on Willesden Lane to mark the temple's anniversary celebrations. Local MP Sarah, who has spent part of the parliamentary recess learning Hindi, was invited to join in the procession.

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather said:

"I had a wonderful, truly memorable, day and would like to thank everyone at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple for inviting me to take part.

"The temple plays a significant role in the community. I was proud to be there to welcome such an important religious leader to our borough."
